One fashion trend I will never understand is:
Exposed bras. I was always taught to wear seamless lingerie and to never show my bra straps so that's one thing that's stuck from an early age. And flatforms in the shoe department - as comfortable as they seem to appear, I'm sure there are other flat sandals that do the job (in a more dressed up way).
My hidden talent is:
Having a photographic memory. It sure is very convenient, and even better since it's one that is hidden!
What is your biggest phobia?
Germs, especially when I travel which is often - I pack some wet wipes in my carry-on at all times!
What are your words to live by?
"If you don't make the time to work on creating the life you want, you're eventually going to be forced to spend a lot of time dealing with a life you don't want" is one that's really stuck with me. In times of panic, I like to remind myself of this: "worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles, it empties today of its strength."
What's at the top of your bucket list?
A road trip through some of the US states and trying the best barbecue there is! Besides food, I love trying new hotels and traveling to any Aman location is my dream.
What would we be surprised to find in your purse right now?
Miniature bottles of Tabasco - I love adding some heat to my food and not all restaurants serve hot sauce. I've been collecting them everywhere I get the chance and they've since become a handbag staple.
The last thing I bought was:
A vintage Fendi baguette in white leather, which was massively discounted and has been my companion all through summer.
My favorite thing to cook is:
Coq au vin - what's better than the combination of chicken, bacon and wine?
Who is your #1 style icon and why?
Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. She seems to have mastered the effortless chic look by simply combining elevated classics like a great white button down, slip dresses and silk skirts with a touch of bold color from time to time.
The best thing about my job is:
To get the chance to work with and discover other female founders, like Maison Rogue! But also to be able to work from anywhere as long as there's a solid wifi connection.
