THE ROGUE STYLE EDIT: Lissette Bagtas
Lissette Bagtas, an authority on California cool-girl style, shows us how she styles her favorite Maison Rogue pieces into her daily wardrobe to brunch & beyond.
As far as accessories go, I like to mix bold colors and go for comfort. The Alain Mikli Le Matin sunglasses were the perfect contrast to the dress. In most cases, you will find me wearing sneakers. This primary-color combination, paired with cool sneakers, is a simple and casual but chic look.
They say that sleepwear is the new street-wear, and this pajama top by MM6 Maison Margiela proves you can pull off the trend with ease. As you can see, #LissBEats loves a good boozy brunch filled with rosé, avocado toast, and buttermilk lemon pancakes. When it comes to dressing up in LA for brunch, you'll find a mix of girls who either like to put on a full "lewk", or are in their workout clothes from their early morning SoulCycle class. I love to wear something as simple as a pajama top, bold pants, and a pair of oval sunglasses by Le Specs. I truly believe that wearing the right pair of sunnies that perfectly fit the shape of your face will only elevate your look.
Everyone takes full advantage of sweater weather in LA. As soon as it hits 65 degrees, I'll wear all of my staple sweaters, including this one from Current/Elliott. I love how I can style this sweater with anything, but my favorite way to wear it is with nothing underneath it! To add to the look, I pulled out the golden yellow undertone of the sweater with this satin bag from Little Liffner. I find myself gravitating to bold colors, like yellow and purple, and these feminine sunglasses by Oliver Peoples were the perfect addition to top off my look. The bold color combo of the accessories is a great way to ease into wearing multiple colors at once.
As it starts to get colder in Los Angeles, I had to find the perfect casual jacket that will take me from day to night. This oversized sherpa jacket from Levi's is my pick. The sherpa lining keeps me super warm, and I absolutely love how I can remove the faux fur collar to dress it up or down. If there is one trend every single person call pull off, it's the denim jacket. Layer it with a tee and jeans, or in my case, pair it with corduroy wide leg pants, a crochet crop top & Le Specs sunglasses.
